from your toes to your hair, I promise I will direct you every step of the way! You will not feel lost, you will know what to do with your body and your face. I have spent 17 years learning how to pose individual people for their specific body type and to hide your personal areas of insecurities

in-person image reveal
This is the best part! You will see the fabulous end results of all of our fun together and choose all of your favorites. We will discover what the best ways are, for you, specifically, to display your images. Afterwards, I will personally prepare and order your art pieces, and hand deliver them straight to you!
***BONUS***invitation to an end of the year campaign celebration, the "It Shot" party, with all of the participants of our 30 over 30 project with each of their favorite shots displayed in art gallery style, and the option to be included in a magazine made exclusively for the women of the campaign for those that choose to be featured.
Hello There!
I'm Kat. Kathi. Banana. (yes, really I am called that sometimes!) I tend to be a little... long winded... lol. So I won't say everything about myself here. I will save some stuff for our phone conversation, where, if you are curious, I can explain to you the exact reason I started this beautiful thing called boudoir photography, rather unexpectedly, after 17 years of being a family photographer.
You, who are reading this... YOU inspire me! As a 40 something myself, I relate to you. I understand what it is to need to feel like aging is a blessing, and is a beautiful thing. (because it is!) and not something to fear of feel negatively about. But I think the majority of us know that aging can just sometimes make us feel... off, a little blah, and like something we want to avoid facing. In reality it's an amazing thing to be granted more time! Our bodies carry us through this crazy stuff that makes up our lives and we really should feel good enough to celebrate our strength, character and beauty.
Photographs can do this for us. They tell our stories. At some point, many stop wanting to be photographed. Perhaps it happens once we get what we consider to be too many wrinkles, or our bodies change, or the kids grow up, and we don't feel like we alone are worth taking the time for ourselves to honor who we are at this time. You possess allure and sensuality, and that there is nothing wrong with that! Your story is not done being told. Some of us tend to shy away from the camera, but with good reason, because usually when it's time for that photo, we are living our busy, day to day life - not prepared for a picture. We all know that feeling of looking at a photo of yourself when you weren't necessarily camera ready, and by someone whose intention was good, but they didn't know your best angles! It can make you feel pretty terrible! Come in to the studio where we will make you feel your beauty.
I know how to show the YOU that you know is there. The one your partner sees even when you feel you are at your worst. The gorgeous person you are, inside and out? I see her. and I can show her to you! I can't wait to have the best time with you while we create images that will remind you that you are worth commemorating.

“When I first thought about doing a boudoir shoot I was very intimidated. I haven’t loved my body for quite sometime. But the more I thought about it the more I realized I needed to do this! I needed to try and love myself again. So all the way up until the day of I was nervous, but Kathi made me feel so comfortable. Let's Get You Into The Studio
*Session requires a retainer fee of $349 and includes hair and makeup and a $200 credit toward any products or collections as well as an invitation to the "It Shot" party, and a copy of the campaign magazine. Half of the retainer fee is due at the time of booking to hold your spot, the other half is due 3 days before the session date.
Collections begin at $649. All collections include a mix of digital files and print products.
